The famous theater company, returns with a great show entitled “I PROMOSSI SPOSSI.”

The plot of the new show of I Legnanesi is not meant to be a modern-day reinterpretation of the most famous novel of all time, I promessi sposi (The Betrothed), but a tribute to the ability of deep analysis of feelings of its author: Alessandro Manzoni, called sympathetically by his Lombard friends “Lisander.”

It is a journey into the deepest feelings, this story that begins with incredible news, announced by a sad and dejected Giovanni, and accepted with astonishment and clamor by an effervescent and always fit Mabilia, and with irrepressible joy by a bubbly Teresa as we have never seen her!

Perhaps our spouses, Teresa and John, by a strange error in municipal paperwork … were never married. Can you imagine? What would your life be like if one day someone informed you that the person to whom you believe you have been married for more than forty years … was never your wife, or your husband?
